This website is about a community archaeology project based at Nether Heyford in Northamptonshire, UK.  A team of professional archaeologists, students and volunteers has been working since 2000 to uncover the rich history of a beautiful corner of the English countryside.  At the heart of the project is a sophisticated Roman villa and bath house complex which was the centre of an agricultural estate extending over about 10 acres.  The Project is largely locally funded and a great emphasis is placed on community involvement in both the process of uncovering the evidence and in disseminating the knowledge it generates.
