North Bucks Archaeological Society The North Bucks Archaeological Society was formed in 1991 and meet regularly for lectures and practical work. They have visited many of the major archaeological sites in Southern England, and sites further afield. Whitehall Farm Roman Villa and Landscape Project, Nether Heyford This website is about a community archaeology project based at Nether Heyford in Northamptonshire, UK. A team of professional archaeologists, students and volunteers has been working since 2000 to uncover the rich history of a beautiful corner of the English countryside. At the heart of the project is a sophisticated Roman villa and bath house complex which was the centre of an agricultural estate extending over about 10 acres.
